  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What do you want me to do?

It's all about the people.

And those little unique everyday details.

Get close.

And have fun, like only you can.

I'll grab a Komodo and a bit of EF glass and a car and travel in Morocco over the next few days.

Will you set-up the Komodo with an external screen, handles, etc… Or just use the built in screen and maybe a waist level viewfinder?
I’m curious to see how people react when using the smallest kit possible for the Komodo.
At some point it’s quite tricky to shoot in the streets with a professional camera if you don’t have a permit in Morocco and there’s plenty of time where I could not use my DSMC2. I got kicked out by cops or security guards even sometimes in remote locations.
I’d like to know if over there Komodo could be the camera for « street cinematography ».

What I gathered from your shorts you have a unique sensibility.
Would be better to see what you produce from your view of the world.

Having said that, time-lapse would be nice.
It's supposed to be in the next build of Komodo. Maybe see if RED can allow you beta test it.

Thanks.

Only tomorrow and the next few day I will get some time to play.

I have some initial thoughts, but I haven't tried them yet, and I dunno if I am capable of doing them even after 5 years of automating the movement of files as my main way of spending time :)

I'm sure you will come back with some gold!

Great looking image Gunleik.
The highlights on Komodo are something special.
I'm not sure if it's the interaction with the OLPF but the slight halation in the overexposed areas is quite unique to that camera (and perhaps V-Raptor as well).
It reminds me of my favorite Kodak stock, 5293 200T EXR.
Please keep the images flowing.
