  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

what am I doing wrong?

It looks like you have "Sensor Sync Mode" set to Genlock (based on the red SYNC icon). HDRx is not allowed in this mode.

Speaking of which, isn't it possible for the red designers to warn you why some functions don't work in a specific setting ? I was trying to bring down a shutter speed to 45 degrees with HDRX enabled but could not get it any further than 90. Only later I realized that the HDRX mode might have prevented it . I think a lot of AC's and DP's would welcome such warnings when they get in the menu settings and sometimes get stuck.
 
Thank you Trent, that was exactly it. Works perfectly with Genlock off. Would you be able to give us any kind of specific explanation as to why HDRx cannot work with genlock? It is hard for me to imagine why it wouldn't. I understand how it works in a single EPIC, but why can't it just be made to happen at the exact same moment in two synchronized cameras?
