What about 2/3 lenses without 1080p?

As i am thinking about buying the 2/3 adapter, how would that one work when 1080 isn´t in the camera?

- shoot 2k and crop?

RED hasn't confirmed that 1080p has been eliminated....just that they are considering it. B4 2/3" HD lenses will cover 2k with either a RED or Abakas adapter. You'd then crop from 2k to 1080p in REDCINE. The quality of the results from that setup has not been confirmed by RED.
