I recently returned from an expedition to The Kingdom of Tonga where I filmed humpback whales underwater on my Red One in a Deep Red.
Here is the Vimeo link if anyone wants to view the selects.
cheers

I'm speechless and humbled, you're a lucky man Ross to be living the life you are leading

Hey Ross, were you on a rebreather for these or freediving? what lens did you use and how close were you to the "talent"?

Hi Rudi
No scuba (closed or open circuit) is allowed in Tonga to film the whales so we used snorkel. I was using both my 11-16 Duclos and the Red 18-50. The whales approached to within touching distance.
cheers
Ross
