Has anyone seen this issue in FCP? The footage plays back fine in FCP, but everytime I export to quicktime movie in various codecs i get these wired frames... Has anyone seen this issue before and if so what is the solution.

I haven't seen this in exports, but I see it in thumbnails and while dragging through reference files in FCP sometimes.

Have you upgraded QT?

What version are you running?

Are you using the _F proxies?

What are your system details?

What version of RedAlert and Red Rushes are you running?

Many of these things could help us point you to a useful answer.

I see these kinds of frames in the FCP timeline or compressor.

Don't think so but the latest version might be

Hopefully that solves your problem. You should also delete the old versions before installing the new ones.

Also it might be a good idea to make sure your REDCODE QT codec is up to date.

I discovered what was wrong. I had used the Quicktime "Save As" method to create quicktime movies of the files where i needed audio. Those files are the ones that misbehaved. I downloaded the latest red rushes re-transcoded the files, deleted the orginal media then reconnected with the new files and the issue went away. Thanks to all who helped.
