I filmed some test footage with a Epic-W and it seems all the skin tones around facial hair or shadow areas has this weird greenish tint smear similar to what a blown out highlight that you reduce highlights would look like. Its like information is missing there. It looks very strange and trading up to the Helium from Dragon is scaring me now.

Ok makes sense now. I was using the RED Stores camera. This was about 2 weeks ago. I am glad we are getting closer to a helium color. Dragons color is near perfect now.

Could you upload a still to illustrate the problem? I would also suggest looking at it on a scope and checking exposure on the histograms. Often, that can provide some clues as to the cause.

Here is a shot. Looks similar to what Jared had in his update firmware. Look around the neck and face. No matter what I do, its contaminated all skin tons on myself and anyone I filmed with it.

Yup. That's a prime example of the purple/green banding problem from old firmware builds. Update the firmware and you'll see that issue damn near eliminated. And even then, we're still not officially "there" as far as color is concerned, apparently.
