Weird Flicker help

Hi everyone,

I'm testing an old Profoto HMI that i have and i shot this little test at 24 fps . Shot with Leica M 50mm .
Getting this weird flicker and don't know why. I guess its a sync problem with the light and the shutter speed .
Any solutions?

Are you using a magnetic ballast? If so, try a shutter speed of 1/60 instead of 1/48.

Thanks ! I think it is a magnetic ballast . It says "Lightmaker 1200 "
I will try 60 fps.

Not FPS...shutter speed. 1/60 instead of 1/48
