This afternoon, I shot a video of Ketch weighing several different pieces of gear (both Metric/Imperial) so we could share with you guys. Why? 'Cause I wanted to know too. :)

After it was all said and done, we thought it would be more valuable to make the measurements available via text, rather than a 15min video...

Soon we shall receive our REDvolts and when we do, we shall post the weight of them as well.

Enjoy!

Well done... now we don't have to do it. :-)

Good work!

I would like to see the video, though, and I'm sure I am not the only one who does! :D

Something interesting to think about.

A 5K Cinema Camera that shoots 120fps (more than double the frames rates at 2K), RAW files without a huge brick to contain the data, HDRx which brings 18+ stops of Dynamic Range... AND all of that can be mounted on my Steadicam PILOT (rated at 10 lb) without overloading it.

Oh, and the wireless follow focus is included in that 10lb (via Canon/Nikon Electronic Mounts).

If you have already thought about that. Maybe think about it again? It was just as cool to me on the second time around of pondering... :)

Great stuff Joseph. Curious, where the hell did Ketch get those kick ass Allen sets?
MUST OWN THOSE :P
