Couldn't find the original thread. but just curious to what website names some of you may have..
I have

digitalcinemacameras.com
digitalcinemacamera.com
reddigitalcamera.com
reddigitalcameras.com

any good?

OK, any of you can grab the following names I'm gonna spit out as I brainstorm. Here I go:
IseeRED.com
ICREDCINE.com
ICRED.com
4kByRED.com
REDis4K.com
REDBcomesU.com
REDcode4k.com
SHOTbyRED.com

Pick one, I'll be posting more...lol

Apple went after websites with the name iPod in them (eg. iPodLounge.com). It's within Red's right to do the same, so I would be careful using the "Red" trademark in your domain name. :meh:

The word "red" is too generic for Red Digital Cinema Company to make any claim to it. If it infringes on them in some form or fashion that might be different. Frankly I don't think Jim would care two hoots at the end of the day, afterall it's not as if anyone can have a better domain name than www.red.com is it? :)

Second thoughts:

http://www.iseeredpeople.com/

I reckon chosing and finding a domain name in this day and age must be either the least inventive or most inventive thing around, I cannot decide!!!

I picked up RedMade.com with the intent of doing something with stock, or maybe a compendium of all films made with Red. But I have no time to build the site so I don't know if it will ever go anywhere.

I have RED ICE CREAM.com
pretty simple.

redicecream.com

Well, I ordered several related domains the moment I got to my hotel room last year at NAB.

4kunderwater.com
redonecamerarental.com
4kstockfootage.com
redonestockfootage.com
redoneunderwater.com
gatesdeepred.com
4kstocklibrary.com
redoneunderwater.com
deepredhousing.com

For those of you who do not know, there is an underwater housing for the Red one coming out called Deep Red from Gates Underwater Products (hence the domains)
Thats just the redlist of the 100+ domains I have. hahaha You just never know what you might decide to do one morning.
