This looks really nice Rion. When are we going to see it?

Thanks Ian,

The film was a lot of fun too shoot. The writer/director Charles Wahl and producer Muzafar Malik really made this project a dream work environment. It was shot on Red 1178 and I couldn't imagine using any other camera system to pull this off. We had a great workflow and had most of our rushes before the days end. I would take stills home and do a rough grade with the help of out DMT in Redcine and then match them back when we were in post at Notch.

Webdultery, has won a number awards on the festival circuit. Its my understanding that some negotiations with distributor are happening an will be released at some point. If you are interested in a private screening I can probably arrange one, let me know.

Looks great! What lenses were used?

I think I saw Toronto in there, so obviously this movie is gonna be gold! Rion, what's the next step for this movie -- when/where can we see it?

Mike we didn't get into TIFF because we had our Canadian premier in Montreal and our North American premier elsewhere (so I have been told). From what I understand, there are some distributors looking at the film now and there might be a private theatre showing for crew, friends / family prior to a release.

I'm glad you think it looks good. I believe there will be a release sometime in November, if you know of any local festivals where you are PM me and I'll ask th producers to apply.

Beautiful footage Rion! Look forward to seeing it somehow!

simply stunning images...I gather this was using the MYSTERIUM sensor?

On set were there any highs or lows working with the camera? It is obvious that the end product is a success. Did you shoot on drives, cards, SSD?

congrats on a most awesome looking film

Coco,
You are very kind, thank you. Yes this movie was shot on the MYSTERIUM sensor just prior to the MX upgrade. and after the upgrade I "No longer fear the Dark.

We did have a minor issue with one of the locations giving out a low frequency hum which manifested itself as a faint rolling bar across the image. We were able to get rid of it by changing from shutter degrees to time and dialling in the appropriate shutter time to match the hum frequency. Other than that RED 1178 worked like a charm, no crashes not even a restart. I must admit though the biggest high of this film was the Director / Producer team. They really made this project a pleasure to on.

We shot Webdultery on both cards and on drives.

Thanks again for your kind words, hopefully one day you will get to see it.
