It's been a while for me in making a personal project in between client projects. So, instead of going in lightly, decided to make a 5 part web series, with all the work going into each episode every month. Script, shoot and edit then release. It's going to be an aces game to play, and having the RED makes it so much more the pleasant.

All shot on a Scarlet, all Rokinon lenses and some wicked talent. Plus some phenomenal musicians on board for the music.

Actual full episode is over on the shot on RED at http://www.reduser.net/forum/showth...ies-Shot-on-RED-Scarlet&p=1520805#post1520805

Trailer here anyways for fun.

Dont you just love the crayons were offered to play with ;)

Good job!

Great Job! Looks really good. The Rokinons have a great look for the money. Just got done shooting a almost exclusively on Rokinons and I was really happy with the results.

great trailer
Which Rokinons? I have recently purchased a set and find I have to use Canon 16-25 f2.8 L for all the wide shots, and even then it is not wide enough sometimes.

A few. The 14mm has some distortion but you can get away with it.

14 at 46 seconds
35 at 22 seconds
80 at 31 seconds

Do you like the way Rokinon works with the Scarlet? I have a couple of Canon lenses that I am looking to sell, and maybe invest in the cinema line of the Rokinons (14 / 24 / 35 / 50 / 85), but have no real experience working with them. Like the look with the scarlet?

Love love the 85. Mid level love for the 35 and still working out the 14. I think you need decent apertures for good clarity with it. Plus the minor distortion can suck nuts. That said, it's wider than my 16-35. That extra 2 is nice to have.

plus all geared.

Hey, it ain't cinema cinema, but it's scarlet cinema.

full episode here if you want to take a look. All on the rokinons bar the opening movi shot after the credits.

And another. Worth checking for the talking head part of the interview that was shot solely
with the 80.

The 135 and 50 from my set look gorgeous. Seems like the newer releases from this set are really hitting a nice mark of quality.

Are you using the 100 macro at all ?
