So it would be nice for fellow RED users who already upgraded, or just finished, or just got allocated. To place time table of their upgrade experience for other owners to get a idea of what to expect.

1. Time stamp of order, or can be new order.
2. Shipping of their DSMC camera (CF, M, X, SD)
3. Evaluation completed of DSMC camera.
4. Weapon Model shipped (Forged, Woven, MG)
5. Weapon Model SN# arrive (Forged, Woven, MG)
6. Accessory Credit applied.
7. (Optional) Available for rental with city location

If any owners who already upgraded would like to change the order or add the order let me know.

Ordered my Epic X to Forged upgrade middle of October, Received notice November 8, Overnighted to RED, cleared evaluation November 12. Shipped back to me 23 days after arriving at RED. Credit posted to account 8 days later. Available for rent in Seattle.

Sent my Epic X to Woven Weapon upgrade end of October, Evaluation took a week but a further two weeks before I got my camera. Credit posted to account a week later. An owner/operator camera so not a rental just need a job but the damm thing has arrived as Australia goes into Christmas/Summer holidays paralysis.


I have just shot some comparative under and over exposure tests with the Weapon against a Dragon and an Alexa and will post results before Christmas

really it was an X not an M or CF Dragon? Thats interesting Tom, cuz i think a lot of us X guys aren't sure where the line is at and if M and CF is done or whats going on...? thanks
