Weapon Scratch Audio levels

Anyone else notice how low the scratch audio is on the Weapon? Had talent in a studio today less than 6 feet from the camera and the camera's audio gain on maximum yet the audio levels are very low. We were double system recording so no hassles but not sure how useful the scratch audio is gonna be. I assume there are no ways to gain up the mics apart from the pre grain in the Audio menus?

Strange it seems such a simple thing to get wrong? I wonder if future FW updates can boost the gain?

Should be. RED has been aware of this for some time and should have a firmware fix soon. Pretty much only useful for linking to your production files for now.
