Our studio is getting two scarlet-w at this summer.

And we are not familier with DMSC-2 rigging options.

There are several questions that we have.

1. Is there a way to adapt HDMI out from camera without expander like the old dsmc-1 bodies?

2. What's the options that you guys are rigging? I see MOVCAM, TILTA, and WOODEN camera options.

Note: we need HDMI out from camera for wireless monitoring...

Hey Minu,

1. No - the DSMC2 bodies do not have any outputs (other than the two pogo-pin connectors)
This means you will have to get either a base I/O expander, the v-lock base I/O module or a jetpack module

2. I personally ordered a bunch of Wooden Camera parts; Top Plate, Top Handle, Easy Riser, Side Hanlde, A-box so far.
I might also get their side plate and Ribs down the road.
I have seen the Movcam and Tilta rigs but they are a bit too overkill for what I mostly work on. I like to keep my rig fairly small since I do a lot of gimbal work as well as
handheld (without a rig). ALso I haven't seen any of these products in action yet nor are they for sale yet.

If you only need HDMI out and are always using mains to power your cam just get a Jetpack module.
But I personally wouldn't want to limit myself. Therefore I got the base I/O v-lock expander. So I can use v-lock batteries. If I have to use otehr modules (like pro I/O) I'll have to switch to the base I/O expander..
