Hi,

I just wanted to see if anybody has a good idea how to power a Weapon on the DJI Ronin gimbal?
Is there a way to power it from the gimbal itself or would you recommend using a V-Mount option like the RED Belt Clip?

Thanks for your help,
Sebastian

DJI released a power distribution plate, it should bromide enough juice to power the camera

I personally haven't checked out DJI's new power adapter yet but I'd asume the Weapon is munching through those DJI batteries like a warm knife through butter.
The battery belt would be one option (the jetpack package is designed for that), yet I don't really like having a cable attached to the operator.
I know the next option puts more weight on the operators arms, but I personally felt more comfrotable with it and it gives you easy power distribution for additional

accessories.

1. I use a v-lock assembly kit to mount the battery on one side of the handle.
If you use a Mövi; freefly sells handle clamps.
If you use a Ronin; you can use one of the clamps that come with the gimbal

2. Then connect the camera and battery with a P-Tap to Lemo cable if you only power the camera.
If you power accessories as well use a long P-Tap cable and plug it into a 4-Way P-Tab hub.

3. Plug the P-Tap to Lemo cable for your camera (and all other accessorie power cables) into the 4-Way P-Tab hub

I personally use dual-lock to secure the 4-Way P-Tab hub on the camera.

Thanks guys.
That looks like a good idea, Simeon.

I'll also have a look at the power distributor for the Ronin.
