Well, theres another 3 months to all our 8K orders:w00t:trying to get the pic from the other side and not the sensor didn't make itbut the OLPF made it

On the bright side, you figure the budget for Guardians of the Galaxy is probably around $200,000,000 divide that by around $80,000 (price of VV) = .0004% of the total budget.
So that's about equal to me ordering a medium pizza and a drink.
It's awwwwwllllll about the loss of the sensor. As Brad said, this probably puts us 8k depositors another three months (or more, as they are so hard to fabricate?) behind because GoTG 2 will get the next good one.
Further to the bad news is that they are unlikely to have the footage of the actual crash even with the redmag surviving. Mad Max was using Red Epics in crash housings but found the impacts from crashes whilst not destroying the camera was disrupting the processing of the image and the last few frames which are the best ones were not being recorded. There is a huge amount of processing going on in the camera so there is a delay of many frames from the time the sensor sees the photons and the bits get recorded. Unsure how many frames but enough that the production stopped using the Epic for these purposes. I suspect this also applies to the Weapon
