Wondering if anyone else has seen this...
With what seems like no regularity, on bootup, the Weapon will occasionally ramp the fans up as if it's doing a firmware upgrade. When it does this, all my shooting settings from the previous session are restored to factory default (5600k, 6k 2:1, etc). The other strange thing is that when I go into the camera info menu after one of these reboots, it's shows 0.1 hours on the camera, even though I've put a solid 15-20 hours onto it already.
This has happened when attached to external power, battery only, and both. I rarely boot with media attached and this has definitely happened several times without media attached, so not a case of a forgotten force upgrade folder still on a card.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Ultimately it's not really a huge issue as far as getting the job done goes but clearly not what's supposed to be happening.

Still running on Firmware v6.2.55 as I haven't had a chance to upgrade to .57

Thomas,

I had this happen a bunch of times but I discovered it was only when I was using an older power supply for an Epic i had laying around. Something about that power supply would not let my Weapon camera shut down properly although it looked like it was. I would get the start up default reboot that you describe each time. This would include the first time i powered up on batteries. All subsequent power ups with batteries are fine. Once I took that power supply out of use i have not had that problem again. Hope that helps
