Finally seeing the first Weapon projects get the on air green light so I decided to do a podcast talking about one.

The ad was shot on the Weapon @ 6k 6:5 ANA.
Everything from 250-1600 ISO on the STD OLPF.
Lomo Anamorphics.

Images are below and a breakdown is on the podcast of all the settings/lamps/lenses and more.

Enjoy!

Hello,
Thanks for your breackdown. I'm looking for shooting cinemascope with the Weapon for a documentary and I'm looking at the different solutions.
Between x2 ana, 6k spherical crop or x1.3 I'm leaning towrads the use of the x1.3 lenses from Vantage if my tests are positives and the production ready to ride that horse... (45-90 zoom).
The documentary will be mainly shot handheld so low weight and flexibility is mandatory.

What was your decision to go x2 with the Lomo?

Thanks

Patrick

Patrick,

I am about to start shooting a documentary as well and see that you will be doing mostly handheld shots. Will you be doing shoulder mounted shots, or shooting with a stabilizer?

Thanks,

Paul

Awesome. Looking forward to listening to it. As ever with the wandering dp, I'm faced wi the dilemma of listening while I run or in my car and having no visual reference to look at, or take the extra time to listen while at my computer.
