We won a Production Cristal !

[Rémi Sello]

Hi everyone,

Last week we flew from France to Switzerland to be at the Cristal Festival ceremony where we won a Production Cristal for our advertainment Evolution Of Style 1.

We shot Evolution Of Style 1 with Red One MX & RPP in April 2011, and Evolution Of Style 2 with our EPIC-M & RPZ in september 2011.

We were also rewarded this morning in the french newspaper 20minutes as #1 of the 5 best Youtube commercials of 2011.

Thanks Jim & RED for making this possible ! :001_smile:

You guys don't have to thank anyone but yourselves. This was all you man. Real nice work.

Ok... now tell us how you did it. LOL

[Shane Betts]

I'm not sure the cameras were so central to the success of these spots - nice as the pictures are. Post production super-stardom!

[Phil Bates]

Awesome! Great work.

[Eli Jarra]

very nice seam-less transitions! Great work

[Christian Munoz D]

Congratulations guys!! I must say, this an award to your talent not the technology. I am sure you will do the same with any other digital cinema camera. +++1 was on Red!
Thanks to you for choosing Red.

[Jarek Zabczynski]

Very nice!

Technical aside, my question is how was it planned? Was there a specific choreography that everyone learned so they all did the same thing at the same time? How many of the transitions were scripted and how many were "found" in the editing? Some definitely needed to be planned out, but some I feel were on the fly.

Phenomenal non the less!

[Luc Bouvrette]

Fantastic work! Congrats, well deserved.
