How about shooting sunset?
To expose landscape we have to keep aperture quite open.
Is it dangerous to point Red into sun for long time?

just as an update, we just flared the lens with a weak laser, and so far, no damage to the camera. we understood the risk and were willing to live with a dead sensor as we have a back up body with us.....we assumed due to the small power of this particular laser, and the fact we just flared the lens quickly it would turn out fine.....

and it did.....keep in mind this was a very low powered laser that flared the lens twice...each time quickly. we do not recommend pointing lasers into the lens. but our DP wanted to give it a try, and it worked out fine for us.....
