Was there Mac Pro (2013) product placement in the MI:4 movie from 2011? :)

[Thomas Koba]

Mission Impossible 4.

This movie is packed with apple gadgetry. iPhone, iPads, Airs etc. etc.

But during the scenes in the Dubai Hotel, i kept noticing some furniture in the back, which strongly ressembles the new Mac Pro. The movie is from 2011. This shot is seen about 3 - 4 times during that scene. What do you think? Coincidence? Or a 2 year pre-preview of the Mac Pro?

[Isaac Marchionna]

Seriously?

[Thomas Koba]

Yup. Just watched it.

If that cylinder is behind Mr potato face then it would be around 2 to 3 foot wide.

[Thomas Koba]

Yes, but in several shots, it's framed conspiciously perfectly in the background, while the actors are using the computer.

I think it's just a coincidence, but a funny one.

It looks like a big, floor standing pottery piece. Not sure about a preview of things to come.
