  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Warm Weather lens test in D.C.

Hey guys, catching up on this thread. There is definitely a big Red presence in DC. I know several Red One, Epic, and now Scarlet owners in the area. I helped organize the Ketch and Hutson tour in DC at IMG and another Epic demo at a joint DC FCP and AE user group meetings. I also run the DC AE user group, part of the film salon and various other films groups in the area as well. I have a better place to host the first meeting at Arlington Indie Media. I know most of the guys there, good group of people. I can get us a space there where we can meet, bring gear, and talk about future events. Also metro accessible at the Clarendon Orange line.

There's been talk about getting a Red User group here in DC, but now with the Scarlet out in the wild, now sounds like a perfect time to get started. If there's interests, I can book something for next week. I presume weekends work best for most people?
 
Let us know if we can help somehow. We have lots of the new red products accumulating these days.

Definitely interested in getting a group together in the DC area.
 
In. Prefer some weekday after work. Harder to get away on weekend. Like all the comments and cross pollination on ideas, shoots, rentals, training would be great. Looking forward to meet fellow redheads
