I am located in Monterey, California.

Looking for an MX body to use on a documentary to be shot in China (see www.redhotgreenchina.com).

Will be ready to purchase in about 2 weeks.

I understand many are waiting for their epics, but if anybody is ready to let their MX go soon - or anybody else has a non-MX lined up for near-immediate MX upgrade, let me know!

email: caroline@thehivestudios.org

Thank you!

I am really interested in this project. The best thing about having one ruling party is that this can actually get done. They are very smart people thinking long term. Go China, Go!

I would be to differ. I don't think a single communist ruling party is good for any reason. You're an American cheering for China? Hmmm...

This would be a great project for a little special help from RED, Caroline is going to be spending many months documenting life in the deepest depths of China - and not just directing, but shooting and DITing into the bargain, an epic effort that deserves lots of support... plus she is a nice person and surprisingly strong for an english lassy!

I meant to say the one good thing....

The US is currently paralyzed to do anything massive like switching the entire grid over to renewable sources of energy. By paralyzed I mean... "government takeover" "adds to the deficit" "election year" etc...

Cheering for China need not be equated with cheering for the communist party or even the government. In most countries throughout the world, the people are better than their governments and have very little say in forming them as they are almost inevitably controlled by vested interest and privileged and corrupt elites (just as in the US).

Forward looking and benevolent policy re mother earth benefits us all. It may happen through mechanisms and motivations that we don't like, but it's still a good thing, I would think in the large scheme.

Would that we had the leadership in the US to become China's solar power equal. Perhaps the one silver lining in the Gulf debacle will nudge us in that direction.
