What happened to the Wally Pfister + Red Dragon Apple Ad post made by Jarred yesterday? Was cool to see Mr. Pfister shooting Red. Confused to why it was taken down?

I would really hope we get an explanation as to why that thread was removed.

Well at least I had a chance to watch the Inception interview with Pfister that somebody posted.. so thanks for that ;)

Not sure what happened to the thread, but I am sure there is a good reason it was pulled. Would love to know -- these are some beautiful ads, probably the best Apple has ever had for any product.

well Jarred himself posted it on faebook so...that would be weird

I got really excited when I read the post on Jarred'd FB, I would hate to find out that the information was inaccurate or not true.

I highly doubt it was shot on something other than Dragon. My guess is Apple did not want it public knowledge what camera it was shot on. Jarred would not have posted it if he was not 100% certain.

Sorry guys... no big conspiracy and nothing that was said was wrong. I was asked to take them down as there was a pre-existing NDA between two other companies that we were not made aware of.

Anyone who has worked with Apple in any capacity knows that this stuff gets extremely intense when it comes to NDAs and anything that falls under legal jurisdiction. They don't mess around.

It's unmistakable that it's dragon. Just not much looks like that. It's a pretty distinct look. That said.

Cool. I'm going to go back and look at them again and appreciate the cinematography. :)

So many NDA's these days. Doesn't help the reel any. Seems like more and more clients are asking us to sign. Reasons for which have become less obvious.
