  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wait Time Between Accessories and Brain

Has anyone noticed a pattern in the time between when Scarlet package purchasers are receiving their accessories and their brain? I just received all the accessories yesterday, and am trying to approximate when the brain might arrive.

thanks for any clues in advance!
 
I got my accessories minus the LCD in early December. Once the LCD was allocated I got a Scarlet Allocation a few days later. I don't think there's much of a correlation.
 
I got everything (brain +LCD + accessories) at the same time in early jan., MINUS the side-handle. The side handle came in last week. So I'd say about a month gap there.. but it looks like different people are getting wildly different results.

Every one of these things is a moving target and is changing all the time. Plus, they are somewhat interdependent - production of different mounts (Canon Al, Canon Ti, PL Ti) , production of different cameras (Epic-X, Epic-M, Scarlet), the timing of the different Epic stages, production of each individual component, and finally, the order dates of each individual - some in packages, some separate parts and pieces. Add into the equation that production is ramping up and you have an impossible timetable to predict. You'll notice that even RED struggles with this and they have more information than any of us. Aboout the only thing you can say about any prediction is that it has a very high probability of being wrong! :smiley:
