Hi.

I'm working on a project and I converted some R3D files to Apple ProRess HQ and did my edit. Now I did my edit and I selected my sequence (red proress preset) to make it offline. When I open the new project with my offline clips and try to ingest the orginal R3D so I can bring it into color, I get this error message. I'm not sure what it is. Have any of you had this issue? My R3D media is on my computers internal hard drive so I can't see how it cannot be mounted.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

The D.I.T dumped the footage onto my tower in a folder on set from the Red drive. I then converted... I will keep trying to figure it out.

When your DIT dumped to a folder on set, I'm assuming he dumped from the RDM folder downwards only? Seems like the error message is expecting a volume labelled like the original Red drive. R3D Data Manager actually copies everything from the RDM folder downwards, but puts them in a top folder with the same name as the Red Drive volume. So you could try making a new top level folder with the name B018_C022_06050T and moving your RDM folders into it. Try it with just one RDM folder (so it's easy to undo) and see if it works for those clips.

I'm just guessing as I haven't really done Red editing. I'm sure other more Red edit savvy folks will chime in too.
