Voigtländer Ultron 40mm F2 ASPH (Nikon F mount) is my favorite lens for "close up" shooting with RED1.

Also it is the lightest lens in my collection and it makes a perfect companion for hand-held close up shooting with RED1.

Also it is very affordable lens (price: US$ 549.99) and I would recommend it to everyone with Doug's Nikon F mount for RED1.

The lens can make very sharp images and has two function in one lens

1. Acts as a normal 40mm standard lens.

2. Acts as "macro" close up lens accompanied with close up lens that is a part of the lens kit.

Don't forget to use QT A/V controls with Color and Contrast to "tweak" QT display gamma shift!
