One option is to shoot 96fps (or 120fps at 2:1) and 180 degree shutter. Slow-mo and sharper stills.

Hi Daniel,
So far I have used frame grabbing 3 times and all the images I have used for print was when the model was not moving at all. Motion blur is the main problem when using frame grabbing.

Check this month's Vogue ( April ) for our first and biggest print ad ever... 8 page fold out featuring Rooney Mara shot on EPIC by David Fincher, lit by our good friend David Devlin. You need to see this printed.
The power of DSMC... shoot motion and extract single stills for not only print covers.. but massive fold-out spreads like this.
Sure to be a collectors item for our friends.

Hi Will, thank you for your answer. I know that i'm not completely on topic. But i would love to hear from someone who actually does Shootings like these:
If you do HDRx, how do you set up your 2nd stream to have 180°? I just see +1, +2, +3, +4, +5, +6 as options.
If my calculations are right, i would set up my settings as following:
Motion Stream (A):
FPS: 24
ISO 250
F:2.8
Shutter: 1/48
Still Stream (B)
FPS 24
ISO 1000 (2 Stops over ISO 250)
F:2.8
Shutter: 1/196 (HDRx +2)
am i correct? And if it were so. why would any photographer want to compromise having all his stills shot at ISO 1000 since in still Photography every detail counts, where as in motion you tend to downsample?
because i don't like to upscale. 2K is enough for motion, but once you're into advertising (and most other print material), 2K stills don't cut it.Why not shoot 300 fps @ 2k?
Very impressive. This kind of multi-functionality might cause us to abandon the vertical 'portrait' orientation for the most part. With the exception of some posters, Horizontal landscape covers 95% of new era visual imagery.

I thought I'll make this for the non-print related redusers here. and it's always nice for having as a quick check sheet. hope you guys can put this to good use.
