  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I am happy to announce " NEW EXPOSURE " a fashion photography contest with Vogue, RED and Bottega Veneta that starts today and ends May 30th.

Enter with a portfolio you already shot or shoot something new... the top 10 finalists will be loaned EPIC cameras to shoot a project and the winner will be chosen at an event in NYC.

Winner will receive a $10,000 mentorship with Management Artists , Opportunity to shoot an exclusive Bottega Venata special project and a RED EPIC-X camera package. Winners Portfolio will be exhibited in New York City.

Everything in that package is a great incentive for someone wanting to get into photography - mentorship, exhibition and project opportunities are huge...

Yet somehow I suspect that to the average REDUSER will read it as:

It's a great thing.
But probably not for most "jack of all trades" types of us here.
More for someone been working on full out art directed portfolio for some years and is now ready to go.
Then again one could do a decent mini-portfolio of 10 or 20 images in one month by working like hell.

Bingo.. and as one of the Judges, we will be giving extra points for that. It is called " New Exposure " for a reason.
 
Damn damn damn, this sounds AMAZING!! I've been wanting to get into fashion photography for awhile and this would be perfect, I wish I had a 3months heads up. My plate is so full for May it just can't happen. I really hope this is a success and we see something like this in the fall or winter.

Yeah - no love for those of us outside the US :'-( Hang on - Jarred could show me some love and let me betatest that laser projector ;-)
