We are going to LA on the 16th of April. We are staying at the neighbourhood of Manhattan Beach. Because it is a one-hour drive to RED we are wondering of there are some other interesting things to visit in the neighbourhood.

We would also plan a trip to Burbank for Filmtools and some other facilities but we have only Friday and Saturday... So we would like to make the trip to the RED store a bit more interesting... We are going to attend the RED party at the RIO hotel @ NAB as well...

Maybe any other nice things we have to visit?

Greetz,

Wim

What would you like to see?
Beaches?
Amusement Parks?
Adult Entertainment?

That's pretty much all I got...

No seriously what are your interests?

Euuhhmm :-)

I believe the most broadcast and film facility's are located in Burbank... But maybe there are some other interesting things for RED users to visit near the factory...

First we try to have something business related and when there is really nothing we could go for a bit of sight seeing ;-) We have some facility's to visit near Burbank but we would like to have some more excuses to take the car and have a visit to the store ;-).

A good tour of Burbank/Hollywood should be in order. Easy to mix business with pleasure on that one.

Oakley is right around the corner from Red and although it may not be specifically business related it is a sight to see. Architecturally and culturally enlightening to say the least. Very inspiring to see the levels of success the O has acquired.

I would also suggest a jaunt down PCH. Dana Point and Laguna Beach are some of the closest beaches to Red and there is a lot of Southern California beauty to be seen there. If you are starting here and then heading towards LA or vice versa in the same day it's not a bad idea to take PCH part of the way up or down to get a taste of the beach cities and their different personalities...
