VISA Extended Warranty on RED Scarlet-X

I talked with my bank and they checked the contract of our business cards and said that nothing similar was there. Anyone in Spain has tried to find up if such extended warranty exists here?

This thread is amazingly important! I just set up a business card solely for the benefits you guys made me aware of! Which rocks cuz I recently lost a gig and half a grand servicing my out of warranty red...so its good to know when I upgrade I will get some additional safety!!!

Yes, spoke to Visa myself. The entire purchase must be made on the card in order to have it covered for 1 additional year. So if you've ordered a package, and you're using more than one card to pay for it, Visa won't cover it since the purchase is not made on one card.

However, you could pay for the camera body ONLY on one particular Visa card and accessories on another perhaps in order to have the body covered for the extra 1yr.

No, you just make a payment - say $5000 - then pay off your card online, then make another payment, then pay off your card online and so on. We did almost $40000 that way, it just takes an hour or so and the much appreciated patience of the great Bomb Squad guys.
