***SOLD***

I have a set of vintage Zeiss Standard Speed MK1 T2.2 lenses in Arri Standard mount with PL mount adapters for sale. The 16mm is a T2.4 and the rest of the set is T2.2. These are without the T* coating. In great condition for their age. I've been told they are at least 50 years old.Cosmetically as you can see they don't look like new, but the glass is in quite good condition. No fungus, scratches, cleaning marks, or chips on the glass. Recently had them serviced by an Arri trained lens tech at one of the biggest rental houses in Thailand. I shoot with them on my Epic MX at 4K HD as they don't cover 5K. They have a very beautiful vintage look with lovely flares.I originally purchased these lenses from someone on dvxuser from LA about 4 years ago. The case you see in the pictures came with the lenses. I've added additional step up rings and hoods to make the lenses almost exactly the same length. They all have the same outer diameter of 95mm and the focus gear rings are in the same location. They all have 49mm filter threads which is how I attach the step up rings/hoods to make them the same length. The 85mm lens barrel has been repaired by the former owner (the shiny polished silver part of the lens barrel). The original 49mm filter thread has been damaged. I got someone to machine a new piece to go over the repaired polished silver portion of the lens barrel to provide a new 49mm filter thread. These repairs/modifications do not affect the optical performance of the lens.16mm T2.424mm T2.232mm T2.250mm T2.285mm T2.2Price: $6,900 USD (includes FedEx international shipping)Click Here to Download High Resolution Images

I'm looking sell these soon, please make an offer if you're interested. I would like to pickup a set of Schneider FF primes when the 25mm and 100mm lenses are released. Would be open to some kind of trade deal for the Schneiders as well.

Great set of lenses here, but I'd like anyone who is in the know to chime in on something I've heard from a couple sources online (and everything is true online). I was told that Zeiss was using the T* coating in earlier years, and just did not advertise it untiil Leica (I think) marketed their coating and Zeiss felt pressured to market theirs. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this, and that these early Zeiss standards have the T* coating?

Rob,
the coatings are different in zeiss standards with the T* markings.

They show different colors when you look at reflections on the glass surfaces...
In the standards without the T* there is no green and almost no blue if I recall well...

It seems like the early ones like these are normal single coated and the later ones with the T* are multicoated.

Just a thought...I'm not sure 100%

Danai, great mod on the lenses!

BONUS!

I will include this 15mm LW Shoot35 CineFocus R2 follow focus with this set of lenses. Very good condition with some minor cosmetic wear and tear. Excellent for use with these set of lenses. Also included (not shown in the picture) are two more custom gear sizes. Case, lens gears, speed crank NOT INCLUDED.

Here are some Epic Dragon 5K R3D's from a test I did last week. Did this test at 5K to better show off the coverage potential/limitations.

Dragon 5K T4 ND0.9 Daylight
-----------------------------------------
ND 0.9 was used on all lenses except the 85mm

Here's the Dragon 5K with the 16mm converted to JPEG. The "red" frame guide is for 4.5K which can be set in REDCineX. I didn't actually see this resolution option on the Epic Dragon's in camera settings.

Here's the 24mm.
