VIEWFINDER + MONITOR + CF CARD NOt WORKING HELP!!!

Hi!
Got the camera 2 weeks ago, allready with built 16. All testing was ok, but this afternoon on a normal boot everything seemed to work fine but the monitor had no image, and the viewfinder was black and displayed the following message:

"EVF Not selected v.71128b"

I formated a card and tried to record on it and the display said:

"Recording Error: INTE"

Reinstalled built 16. All problems remained.

Tried to install built 17 beta to see if it would solve the problem but everything remained the same apart from the message when I hit the recording button which is now:

"INTERNAL ERROR"

Anyone knows what's happening or what to do?

I'm desperate because I have a shoot tomorrow morning....

this might sound silly but I've done it before, did you switch the LCD and EVF cables?

We did call RED. The camera will be replaced.
But... we should start shooting tomorow.
We were hoping for some solution from the reduser forum.

Does the camera boot now?

pull all power sources and media and wait a few minutes...then push the power button 7-8 times. Then reconnect power and try to boot.

also be sure to disconnect all accessories, including the lcd and viewfinder before booting

Then go into MAINETENCE MENU and do a full RESTORE.

Also, really double check the connections on the lcd and evf, if they come out even a little it can cause problems. The evf is much more sensitive to problems than the LCD, so maybe try with just the LCD at first.

last time I saw an image was through the HD -SDI port with an Astro wave form Monitor attached... Then no more image or recording...

Just to let everyone know that we could not recover from the camera malfunction. It's on it's way to RED.
We did find another camera body in Lisbon and are on our 2nd day of production.
It's a 10 day schedule for a short fiction.
