Viewfactor bottom plate

I just noticed that the WC easy riser which I purchased doesn't have threading for the back of the plate.. incase I wanted to mount the 15mm LW to the back. (I know. Buy the Easy Riser XL), BUT the same sized Viewfactor bottom plate has threading on the back. For the same money, it would be nice to have the option of mounting the 15mm rods on the back, not saying all the time.. I have a couple of questions:

1) will the viewfactor bottom plate allow you to attact the 15mm LW on the back?
2) will viewfactor bottom plates work with WC top plates?
3) can the 3/8-16 camera screws live in the VF plate like in WC's plate ?

1) Yes, but it would have to be mounted upside down if you are using external power or any of the connectors on the rear of the camera. It should work fine if using the Red Volts.
2) I have no idea. You'd have to check with someone else on that one.
3) Our 3/8 screws are captured.
