For those who may have this product "Viewfactor APU-IDX battery" would be so kind to confirm that such plate is wired to pass data from RED brick style batteries (i.e RED brick, Switronix)

I have try to use a Switronix XP-LP95RED and all I am getting is Voltage readout in the LCD.

Here is the set-up:
RED Scarlet
Viewfactor APU-IDX battery
Switronix XP-LP95RED

Thank you!

Case closed: I called View factor and they informed me that they are not connected digitally to the RED so no % readout available. Unfortunate news, but in the bight side - excellent and friendly tech support.

Yep - V only, tho no worries here. FABulous product, support...

I ask again my small question ;-)

Do the Swit Red batteries display % or time with the Red belt plate ? Anybody experienced this ?

Thanks,

Kristin

I can't speak for the Switronix, but the GMP RED batteries do % on the RED belt plate, so I would guess yes. And, conversely, it seems that non-RED coded batteries won't even power up the camera via the belt plate.
