  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Maybe this is old news but could someone tell me what the story with Viewfactor is? Their follow focus has been on backorder for two years I think. The site seems ready to take my money. Is this a trap? Or do they actually ship within a reasonable time frame?

I've only seen one, and I thought it was pretty slick. Though I never had a chance to use it on a job.

Can anyone can tell me if this company's legit or another drama like that guy who was taking money and never delivering monitors (forget the name...)?

for the VF inclibo impero I suggest you wait until its ready to ship then place an order.
I believe they are going to start shipping pretty soon. They are not spammers they deliver all the rest of their products, its just has been so many things went wrong with this ending up a night mare for most if not all buyers for over 2 years.
I had a new receiver free of charge , for my damaged one, so its not like they are spammers . but its best to wait since they have to deliver to 100s of backorders until they have the product out and running which by the way its a total new specs set up.

I suggest if you interested to give Curt a call and he will tell you how the status is.
and when they are to ship. Then when they are ready you can decide, since you havent payed any money yet

I WOULD NOT...give curt a call, thats how he strung me along for months without a refund or working product.

But I would do as Constantine says and wait until they ship all the back orders
and work out all the bugs...THEN....if its solid I would buy but not before.
 
Paul sorry to hear , I totally understand , I am talking mainly out off my experience only which in that case worked.
But I really think its best to wait for a shipping product that is truly full functional.
This way you cant go wrong.

Ouch! I feel for the people who got hosed. Seems to be a lot. I'll stay away until it's shipping and some good AC's I know report back. No hurry.
 
To my surprise Curt emailed back, I send him an email through his website and he replied within 48 hours. Of course I have to see if he will deliver (i was one of the first costumers <30) but he emailed that he wants to have the product finished end of the year and dlvered end of january... We'll see......

I am also one of the first 30 customers and the first to order a 3-motor kit.

I have always received a reply whenever I have emailed Curt. End of Jan delivery would be awesome!
