view 2048x1152 clips on 1080i monitor?

Not sure if this question has come up before but here goes:

I baked all my 2K clips using L&T in FCP7.
To my surprise, they came in at 2048x1152 (didn't realize this til the end)

I normally have my sequences set at 1080 psf 23.98 Pro Res 442 HQ and play out at 1080i 29.97 through the Kona card. This works great for client monitoring.

Are there any presets out there that would allow me to cut in 2048x1152 and output at 1080i thru the Kona?

I will do some experimenting in the mean time but figured I'm not the first one with this problem so I'll ask anyways.

AFAIK the Kona can downscale on-the-fly.
