I'm working on a short film next month and trying to find an inexpensive solution for a director's monitor or video village setup with Komodo. Has anyone used the setup from vrriis?

Thanks!

Not familiar with that particular wireless transmitter but if it’s a small set and it’s just for you as a director (I,e clients or AC are not depending on it) you will likely be fine.

You might also consider RED Control with a portable router like this.

Makes the Komodo’s in built wireless much more reliable plus you can control the camera.

That's interesting. To be honest, im skeptical only because of the price. According to reviews you can expect dropped frames and low image quality.

Might be ok for your purposes. But I wouldn't expect to make critical cinematography decision making with the image off of this unit.

So I think we are going to try the Accsoon CineView SE transmitters and see how it goes with streaming to iPads.
