I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site to upload HD video for all to see (like in h.264 compression). I am drawing a blank right now and I have to post a 3 minute clip in the best possible quality. Thanks in advance.

vimeo is popular with HD shooters.

but the compression from vimeo sucks to me, I uploaded a HQ-video from me and it ended up only fairly better than youtube...

well you can allow 720p downloads of your vids, so that is definitely way better than youtube.

The vimeo streaming download is not wonderful; one thing they do is (apparently) change your frame rate (I sent 29.97 fps and what I see is apparently 24 fps). On the other hand, they offer the option to download the exact, original .mp4 file you uploaded (if you create an account with them), so you can get all the quality, if you don't need to have it stream live.

See this 720p resolution test for example:
http://www.vimeo.com/1049025

The motion is not smooth (for me) in the streaming version but if you download the original file it is smooth.

I think the problem is that the Flash player isn't the most CPU efficient playback engine. I have no trouble playing back 720p25 video I've uploaded on Vimeo on a quadcore Intel Mac, but on my single-core G5, it's not a fun experience.
