Video on Second Monitor Shows on 1st Monitor!!

I am going nuts here! I am trying to get the video to display on the second monitor but every time i select that it shows on my first monitor, over the UI. What am I doing wrong here? Is this a known problem? Ive been searching all over and cant find an answer.

I had to switch off the RRX with the Beta version to be able to see anything .... and was guessing there's a screen output bug of this sort.

I was finding issues with this problem going all the way back to version 15/16. How is this not fixed yet?? How are other people viewing there footage on a second monitor??

Cisco, have you reported it before?! If so, I apologize. We'll be taking a look at this. Are you using the Release 33 build or the new Beta 35?

I am on 33.1. I have not reported it officially. What is the process for that? It just seems like this has been happening for awhile.

Just a suggestion : Is there a way of adding a button that says 'Send bug report to RED' -> it then pulls in the program logs into an email, and then you can attach anything (if you want too) / write an explanation.

You might find people more included to do this / and not hope that the issue gets sorted out by someone else ;-)

Speaking of which ... I was trying to used the Beta to transcode to ProRes last week ... kept crashing mid export .. I was in a rush and used FCPx in the end. Didn't have time to try look out the protocol for raising bugs.

Using Resolve for the first time today ... is there some sort of contention where only one program can use the RRX at the time?
(Resolve complains that it can't connect to the RRX if other software that can use it ... is currently running).

On the RRX, you are correct that only one program can use RRX at a time.

I've also noticed that when I switch the Retina 5K iMac to its highest resolution... 5120x2880 in REDcinex-X build 35.37249 Beta... that the video screen keeps disappearing. I'm only using the iMac 5k monitor... no secondaries. Does REDCine-X support this resolution?
