  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

What's up with Red CineX on the MacBook M1 Max? I'm running v55.0 on my new MacBook M1 Max. When I playback footage from the Komodo, I get tons of artifacting in the form of small horizontal hash lines that look like video noise. Disabling GPU processing makes the problem go away. Playing the same files in Resolve look fine, no artifacts. Also, playback on my Windows 10 workstation plays fine, no problems. It seems there's something wrong with the Red CineX app on the M1 Pro.
