Had a dolly shot with my EPIC X. Long and fast run on a smooth surface, kind of linoleum floor, no tracks, very little but high frequentic vibrations. My EPIC didn't like it, gave me error and drop frames until I took my baby on my knee and tried again. Then it was ok. Anybody else had this problem? It's like the RED ONE harddisk phenomenon, but with SSD? Strange.

Drop frames... interesting.
I've had my epic shaking that much i couldn't even see the picture in the 5inch... and had no dropped frames at all...
I'm curious to see what RED says about this.

The silly places I have put my camera, were I would never ever entertain with my REDONE.. from a vibration stand point.

I'm not quiet shure if "dropped" frames like on a hard disk is the right expression. When I stopped recording I had an error message and had to restart the cam and only a few part of the shot (the start sequence before we were on full dolly speed) was saved.

My thoughts are the SSD might have worked itself loose from the vibrations, which would have caused a corrupted recording.

Hey Daniel, Would you mind sending us a Log file to support along with a clip name of a file that experienced the drop frames so we can take a peek?? Thanks!
