VFX Studio for Hire: Seeking RED Projects

RED Users,

My name is Ryan Wilson. I’m the CEO of Authority FX (AFX), a digital visual effects studio in the Toronto area. Over the last year, we’ve had the pleasure of working on numerous features shot on the RED ONE camera system. Needless to say, from our first 4k plate, we’ve been quite impressed. These days, when approached regarding potential VFX contracts, one of the first questions I ask is, “Are you shooting RED?” It’s for our appreciation of RED that I’m posting this thread here today.


For 2009, it is our goal to build and maintain many new and mutually rewarding relationships with RED enthusiasts. AFX is an excellent team to work with, Been working in a few projects with them, they get stuff done, and absolute fantastic and communication and getting you the results and final product your looking for the first time. They are a life saver when it comes to VFX, absolute pros.

Ahhh yes, the proton streams. We tried to combine the best elements of the steams from both Ghostbusters 1 and 2. As are many fans, I'm hoping Ghostbuters 3 happens; even more so, I'm hoping to be involved with the VFX. Those films have always been very high on my favorites list.
