  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

When you first turn it on before you calibrate it, make a mark that is your "zero" mark. Then, set the lens to a certain position. When you turn it of, make sure the lens is at the same position as you started with. Then when it's off, go back to your zero mark. That's how I keep using the same marks.

Thank you Matthew !

After trying what you suggest the only way I can get it close is by setting the lens to min focus and marking the ring at that point. Then when turning the unit back on I put the ring on the marked spot and lens to min focus and after "calibrate" my marking are very very close.

I managed to receive the viewfactor cage for Eos 7D. I got it immediately after my order so it seems they are still in business. I just hope I receive my impero/inclino by this years end. The least they can do is give us store credits so I can buy alternative products they make... By the way, the cage is well built am I'm very happy with it. I am also purchasing their cage for 5D when it becomes available. Hope this DSLR boom will give them a good credit boost!!

HI I know that this thread is very old but I need help with the impero/inclino ... I cannot connect it anymore ... have you git the manual by chance or do you know how to operate it?
