Very happy with EPIC HighSPeed framerates footage.....chk out this TVC

[Slobodan Milivojevic]

Hi guys, recently I've directed/edited a TVC in Bahrain, where we were using Scarlet and EPIC(for slomotion shots).

Here is the result:

This was a first time for me to use EPIC for slomotion shots. and I am very happy. We just had a problem on one shot with light flicker, and we haven't noticed that during the shoot...

Edited in Premiere, post in Nuke/Aftereffects.

Cheers!

beware 5k high speed is addicting..

Looks very cool. Congratulation.
5K and 4K high speed is addictive as Chad said

Guys, do you know is there a trade in option with RED, like to give our 1 year old RED SCARLET back for refurbished or new EPIC?

Or, is it worth better to upgrade SCARLET to DRAGON and stick with it? But again...no high speed option...

[Filip Orlandic]

Aleksandar and You are a great combo!

You can trade your Scarlet to Dragon EPIC.

Nice work!

You can check your safe frame rate and shutter angle combinations via the following link to avoid flicker:

It's dependent on the electrical standard of the country in which you're shooting, and it applies to pretty much all cameras, not just RED.

Great job Slodoban, spots looks FAN-TASTIC (pun intended, but seriously great job). Very nice combo of footage and FX.
