Where are you seeing those prices Anthony? I only see $8,350 which is about how much I'd have to pay a divorce lawyer if I bought one.

EDIT:

Hey Liam .... you are right, but it wasn't until Leon messaged below that I realized this price is HKD, and so the US price is a bit under $1100.

Still, from some other reviews of the m4/3 version it seems the wide open performance might be questionable ... that would be the only reason to use this over a fast
Canon or Nikon 50mm, so I will wait for a review. But seems promising :)

Ah yes, I'm a dope head...

The Leica 50mm F.95 Noctilux is the King of the Hill and widely considered as one of, if not the best lens ever made. No other lenses come close including the older and slightly slower Noctiluxes . We have shot some tests with this lens wide open and it is sharp from edge to edge with amazing contrast. This fits on our SpaceCam Leica M mount for the Epic that is viewable at the store on www.spacecam.com along with other accessories that we are offering. Current going rate for this lens is around $13,000. Retail list is $10.5K, however, there is no availability from Leica dealers. We hope to acquire this lens and offer it as a rental item shortly along with other lens option for the M mount.

I quite like the Canon 0.95, specially if you grab one with Leica mount instead of Canon 7
