  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Very basic question about RED FCP Workflow

Alex - not to answer for everyone, but I would say that within Adobe's Creative Suite most people would color in After Effects. Not sure if everyone does this (or uses another program), but I would assume that is the best way because of full RED support through their programs.

I understand downconverting 4K to 2K in FCP is better quality than shooting in 2K, but my question is really about what if you wanted to have a final 4K output?

Shooting in 4K, gives you the power to set whatever depth of field you like, depending on the lens you're using. Really beautiful cinema-like pictures.
