Anybody editing HDRX shots with Vegas? I suppose the only way to do it would be to render the A track and the X track as two different layers in Vegas and then pulling details from both tracks. Is there a plugin that'll allow you to just pull highlights from one clip and the rest to be transparent to see the layer below?

Is there a better workflow for HDRX in vegas?

Hi there, I think it's highly unlikely that Vegas has a plugin for HDRx seeing as Vegas 12 doesn't even support the latest colour science. Your best bet is probably tweaking the HDRx in RedCineX and then transcoding out as a 2K ProRes, or whatever suits.

Will.
