varispeed isue

Hi all, I dont know if this isue has been known before what it could be since i havent read all the posts.
Ok you have the varispeed prepared you have set your speed and you have check the varispeed checkbox, if you change your battery, and reboot the speed will be in the value you stated, the checkbox will steel be checked but it actualy want record at your desired speed. Is not that bad because it advises you in the lcd because it shows the current speed and you will see it white to whatever speed you have the proyect.
This is with build 13.
I haven´t had time to check it with the 14 th I hope to do it this weekend.

Jon,

The camera does not retain the set Variable fps on re-boot/power down on build 14. The value has to be set again.

Hopefully just a bug that can be tackled in build 15. Would be good to see the vfps shown in the rear LCD on setting to.

Yes you are wright specialy now that since we work with the 2 HD monitors you might not have the chance of changing to the red LCD.
The back activation will be great but i will love to keep the proyects frame rate as well.
I dont know if it will be posible to place it just below the red dot that indicates that you are recording in the monitor that will be great as well as the shutter speed.
I hope the RED guys wright soon about this to let us know whats going on. Is extrange they haven´t done it jet they must be in a full company meeting because they are usualy realy fast :construction:

Still in that full company meeting ;-) Seriously, its not actually forgetting to remember the Varispeed frame rate across a power down.. but there is a bug that makes it look like it is. The request for the addition of Varispeed feedback elsewhere is noted.
