Build 15, RED Raid, 2k 2:1, 23.98, 320asa, varispeed and ramping enabled with 5 sec duration at 24 beginning and 120 ending. When I press record the varispeed indicator begins to count DOWN from 24 to 9fps?!?!? Have I missed something here? Anyone else encountered this?

I also just tried starting 120fps and ending 24fps and got the ROCKETIO_FUALT error message. A side note, I just noticed (don't know if its new to build 15 but it's definitely new to me) that the image in the monitor stays right side up no matter what the cameras orientation is. Thats badass!

Hmmm. Is this the first report that there may be an accelerometer in there like Macbooks and iPhones?!? If this is true it is more than badass! Imagine recording camera angles in metadata! Oh yeah baby?

Can someone with red letters in their handle confirm or deny?!?

Redrhoards is just messing with you (or he drank too much crazy juice tonight)...

well, it's a joke (I guess). All video cameras that have the monitor attached to the camera look that way when you rotate the camera (live). You only see the horizon tilt when you play it back on a stationary monitor.

as i said (at least i hope) Redrhoads is just messing with us..

Sorry guys...
I think it's my poor english, but... What are you talking about?
It's a joke or someone are completely lost his mind tonight?
:umm:

woah...

Well other than the monitor thing... I've experienced the same thing, the speed ramp works when I go high to low, but not low to high. It jumps fom 120 to about 5,6 fps like he says. Straight high speed works great. Any ideas?

Seriously though, varispeed works great. 120fps is amazing! When I try ramping is where I run into trouble. Now it seems to not ramp at all, RC28 or 36, CF or Raid. Guess I'll try reloading FW and see if that helps.
